About Me

DSCN2158

My name is Meredith Ginn and I am currently a senior at West Texas A&M University. Upon graduating I will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Education – Teacher Cert. I didn’t alway want to be a teacher, but my senior year in high school my ag teacher passed away. He had such and impact on my life that I decided then that I wanted to be an Ag. teacher. He taught me how to have a passion for agriculture and the FFA. I only hope that one day I can have the impact on my students that he had on me as well as my classmates. Without agriculture we would be naked and hungry!

My teaching philosophy is: I believe that each student is a unique individual, and has many special qualities to bring to the classroom as well as the world. It is my job as an educator of Agriculture to teach employable skills to my students, but some of the most valuable life long lessons cannot be taught from a lesson plan. My passion is Agricultural Education and I can only hope that I pass on that same love and respect to my students, of something this world cannot function without; Agriculture.
